About Bobbi Jo
My Mission is to Help You Find Clarity and a Clear Path Forward

Hello, and welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
I am a registered psychologist with more than 25 years of experience supporting children, teens, parents, and adults. Before becoming a psychologist, I worked as a teacher, and that early experience continues to shape the way I understand learning, behaviour, and emotional well-being. Over the years, I have worked in school settings, community programs, and clinical practices, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the challenges individuals and families face both inside and outside the classroom.
In my practice, I focus on helping people understand themselves better, feel supported, and move toward meaningful change. I work with clients who are dealing with anxiety, mood concerns, ADHD-related challenges, parenting stress, relationship difficulties, and periods of transition or overwhelm. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down to earth. I believe therapy should feel like a safe, comfortable space where you can be honest about what is going on and know that you will be met with compassion, clarity, and practical guidance.
I also provide comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to help children, youth, and adults understand how they learn and think. Whether the questions relate to learning disorders, ADHD, giftedness, or general school struggles, assessments can offer clarity and direction when things feel confusing or uncertain. My goal is to translate this information into strategies that genuinely make life easier at home, at school, and in daily routines.
At the heart of my work is a belief in strengths. Every person who walks through my door brings something unique and valuable, even when those strengths feel hard to see. I am here to help uncover those strengths, make sense of challenges, and work alongside you as you build confidence, resilience, and a clearer path forward.
If you are feeling unsure about next steps, or you simply want a better understanding of what is going on for you or your child, you are in the right place. I would be happy to meet with you, answer your questions, and help you determine what kind of support will be most helpful.
You do not have to navigate this alone.
